فَأَوْحَيْنَآ إِلَيْهِ أَنِ ٱصْنَعِ ٱلْفُلْكَ بِأَعْيُنِنَا وَوَحْيِنَا فَإِذَا جَآءَ أَمْرُنَا وَفَارَ ٱلتَّنُّورُ فَٱسْلُكْ فِيهَا مِن كُلٍّ زَوْجَيْنِ ٱثْنَيْنِ وَأَهْلَكَ إِلَّا مَن سَبَقَ عَلَيْهِ ٱلْقَوْلُ مِنْهُمْ وَلَا تُخَٰطِبْنِى فِى ٱلَّذِينَ ظَلَمُوٓا۟ إِنَّهُم مُّغْرَقُونَ
He was told: build the ship under God's eye and by His instruction. When the command comes and the oven gushes, take aboard a pair of every kind and your household, except the one against whom the word has already gone out. And do not speak to Me on behalf of those who did wrong: they are to be drowned.
انہیں کہا گیا: کشتی ہماری نگرانی اور ہمارے حکم کے تحت بناؤ۔ جب ہمارا حکم آئے اور تنور ابل پڑے تو ہر قسم کے جانداروں میں سے ایک ایک جوڑا اور اپنے گھر والوں کو اس میں سوار کر لو، سوائے اس کے جس کے بارے میں پہلے ہی فیصلہ ہو چکا ہے۔ اور ظالموں کے حق میں مجھ سے کوئی بات نہ کرنا: انہیں تو غرق ہونا ہی ہے۔
