فَأَخَذَتْهُمُ ٱلصَّيْحَةُ بِٱلْحَقِّ فَجَعَلْنَٰهُمْ غُثَآءً فَبُعْدًا لِّلْقَوْمِ ٱلظَّٰلِمِينَ
Then the Cry took them, and rightly. They were left like the scum a torrent carries; the commentaries gloss it as withered plant matter, dry and crumbling and worth nothing. So away with the wrongdoing people.
پھر انہیں چیخ نے آ پکڑا، اور بالکل حق کے ساتھ۔ وہ سیلاب کے اس جھاگ کی طرح بن کر رہ گئے جسے سیلاب بہا لے جاتا ہے — مفسرین اسے سوکھی ہوئی، بکھری ہوئی، بےکار خس و خاشاک کے طور پر بیان کرتے ہیں۔ پس دور ہوں یہ ظالم لوگ۔
