مَا تَسْبِقُ مِنْ أُمَّةٍ أَجَلَهَا وَمَا يَسْتَـْٔخِرُونَ
No community gets ahead of its appointed term, and none of them puts it off. The term is fixed at both ends: their haste cannot bring it forward and their wanting more time cannot delay it.
