وَلَوِ ٱتَّبَعَ ٱلْحَقُّ أَهْوَآءَهُمْ لَفَسَدَتِ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتُ وَٱلْأَرْضُ وَمَن فِيهِنَّ بَلْ أَتَيْنَٰهُم بِذِكْرِهِمْ فَهُمْ عَن ذِكْرِهِم مُّعْرِضُونَ
If the truth were made to follow what they want - a partner for God, a child for Him - the heavens and the earth and everyone in them would fall into ruin. Instead they were brought their own reminder, the thing that would have raised them, and from it they turn away.
اگر حق ان کی خواہشات کے پیچھے چلتا — یعنی اللہ کے لیے شریک اور اولاد — تو آسمان اور زمین اور ان میں رہنے والے سب کچھ درہم برہم ہو جاتے۔ اس کے بجائے انہیں ان کی اپنی نصیحت دی گئی، وہی چیز جو انہیں بلندی عطا کر سکتی تھی، مگر وہ اسی سے منہ موڑ گئے۔
