وَلَوْلَا فَضْلُ ٱللَّهِ عَلَيْكُمْ وَرَحْمَتُهُۥ وَأَنَّ ٱللَّهَ تَوَّابٌ حَكِيمٌ
And were it not for God's favour to you and His mercy - the commentaries take the favour here as the covering of what would otherwise stand exposed - and that God turns to whoever turns to Him, and is wise in what He lays down.
اور اگر تم پر اللہ کا فضل اور اس کی رحمت نہ ہوتی، جس سے اس نے تمہاری اس بہتان میں پڑنے کی رسوائی پر پردہ ڈال دیا، اور اگر یہ نہ ہوتا کہ اللہ توبہ کرنے والوں کی توبہ خوب قبول کرنے والا اور اپنے احکام میں حکمت والا ہے، تو تم پر اس بہتان میں پڑنے کی وجہ سے بہت بڑا عذاب آ جاتا۔
