وَٱلَّذِينَ يَرْمُونَ ٱلْمُحْصَنَٰتِ ثُمَّ لَمْ يَأْتُوا۟ بِأَرْبَعَةِ شُهَدَآءَ فَٱجْلِدُوهُمْ ثَمَٰنِينَ جَلْدَةً وَلَا تَقْبَلُوا۟ لَهُمْ شَهَٰدَةً أَبَدًا وَأُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ هُمُ ٱلْفَٰسِقُونَ
Those who accuse chaste women and then cannot bring four witnesses who saw it: eighty lashes, and their testimony is never to be accepted again. They are the ones who have left obedience behind.
اور جو لوگ پاکدامن عورتوں پر زنا کی تہمت لگائیں پھر چار عادل گواہ نہ لا سکیں جنہوں نے اپنی آنکھوں سے یہ فعل دیکھا ہو، تو انہیں ان کے جھوٹے الزام کی سزا میں اسی کوڑے مارو، اور آئندہ کبھی ان کی گواہی قبول نہ کرو، اور یہی لوگ اس تہمت کی وجہ سے اللہ کی اطاعت سے نکلے ہوئے فاسق ہیں۔
