أَلَمْ تَرَ أَنَّ ٱللَّهَ يُزْجِى سَحَابًا ثُمَّ يُؤَلِّفُ بَيْنَهُۥ ثُمَّ يَجْعَلُهُۥ رُكَامًا فَتَرَى ٱلْوَدْقَ يَخْرُجُ مِنْ خِلَٰلِهِۦ وَيُنَزِّلُ مِنَ ٱلسَّمَآءِ مِن جِبَالٍ فِيهَا مِنۢ بَرَدٍ فَيُصِيبُ بِهِۦ مَن يَشَآءُ وَيَصْرِفُهُۥ عَن مَّن يَشَآءُ يَكَادُ سَنَا بَرْقِهِۦ يَذْهَبُ بِٱلْأَبْصَٰرِ
Have you not seen how God drives the clouds along, then joins the scattered pieces into one, then piles them up, and then the rain comes out from the middle of them? And He sends down out of the sky what the commentaries describe as mountains of cloud with hail in them, and strikes with it whom He wills and turns it away from whom He wills. The flash of His lightning almost takes the sight away.
کیا تم نے نہیں دیکھا کہ اللہ کس طرح بکھرے ہوئے بادلوں کو آہستہ آہستہ چلاتا ہے، پھر ان کے ٹکڑوں کو آپس میں جوڑ دیتا ہے، پھر انہیں ایک دوسرے کے اوپر تہ در تہ بنا دیتا ہے، تو تم دیکھتے ہو کہ بارش اسی جمع شدہ بادل کے درمیان سے نکلتی ہے؟ اور اللہ آسمان سے پہاڑوں جیسے بادلوں میں سے اولے نازل کرتا ہے، پھر جسے چاہے اس سے پہنچاتا ہے اور جسے چاہے اس سے بچا لیتا ہے۔ اور اس کی بجلی کی چمک اپنی شدت سے آنکھوں کی روشنی تقریبا چھین لیتی ہے۔
