يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ لِيَسْتَـْٔذِنكُمُ ٱلَّذِينَ مَلَكَتْ أَيْمَٰنُكُمْ وَٱلَّذِينَ لَمْ يَبْلُغُوا۟ ٱلْحُلُمَ مِنكُمْ ثَلَٰثَ مَرَّٰتٍ مِّن قَبْلِ صَلَوٰةِ ٱلْفَجْرِ وَحِينَ تَضَعُونَ ثِيَابَكُم مِّنَ ٱلظَّهِيرَةِ وَمِنۢ بَعْدِ صَلَوٰةِ ٱلْعِشَآءِ ثَلَٰثُ عَوْرَٰتٍ لَّكُمْ لَيْسَ عَلَيْكُمْ وَلَا عَلَيْهِمْ جُنَاحٌۢ بَعْدَهُنَّ طَوَّٰفُونَ عَلَيْكُم بَعْضُكُمْ عَلَىٰ بَعْضٍ كَذَٰلِكَ يُبَيِّنُ ٱللَّهُ لَكُمُ ٱلْـَٔايَٰتِ وَٱللَّهُ عَلِيمٌ حَكِيمٌ
You who believe: those you own, and the children among you who have not yet reached maturity, are to ask leave at three times - before the dawn prayer, at noon when you have put off your clothes, and after the night prayer. Those are three times of privacy for you. Outside them there is no blame on you or on them, since you come and go among one another. So God makes the signs clear to you; and God knows, and is wise.
اے ایمان والو! تمہارے مملوک غلام اور لونڈیاں، اور تمہارے وہ بچے جو ابھی بالغ نہیں ہوئے، انہیں چاہیے کہ تین اوقات میں تم سے اجازت لے کر آئیں: فجر کی نماز سے پہلے، ظہر کے وقت جب تم قیلولے کے لیے کپڑے اتارتے ہو، اور عشا کی نماز کے بعد۔ یہ تمہارے لیے تین پردے کے اوقات ہیں۔ ان کے علاوہ تم پر اور ان پر بغیر اجازت آنے جانے میں کوئی گناہ نہیں کیونکہ تم آپس میں ایک دوسرے کے پاس بار بار آتے جاتے ہو۔ اسی طرح اللہ تمہارے لیے اپنی آیات کھول کر بیان کرتا ہے، اور اللہ تمہارے حالات جاننے والا اور اپنی شریعت میں حکمت والا ہے۔
