يَٰوَيْلَتَىٰ لَيْتَنِى لَمْ أَتَّخِذْ فُلَانًا خَلِيلًا
Woe to me, he says: if only I had never taken that man for a friend. The one he names is the one who had been closest to him.
وہ ظالم کہے گا کہ ہائے میری بربادی، کاش میں نے فلاں شخص کو اپنا گہرا دوست نہ بنایا ہوتا، اور اس فلاں سے مراد وہ شخص ہے جو دنیا میں اس کا سب سے قریبی ساتھی تھا اور جس نے اسے حق سے بھٹکایا۔
