وَعِبَادُ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ ٱلَّذِينَ يَمْشُونَ عَلَى ٱلْأَرْضِ هَوْنًا وَإِذَا خَاطَبَهُمُ ٱلْجَٰهِلُونَ قَالُوا۟ سَلَٰمًا
And the servants of the Compassionate are those who walk on the earth without weight: the commentaries agree that it means a man's own natural gait, with no strutting in it and nothing put on. And when the ignorant speak at them, they answer: peace.
اور رحمن کے خاص بندے وہ ہیں جو زمین پر عاجزی اور وقار کے ساتھ چلتے ہیں بغیر کسی تکبر اور بناوٹ کے، اور مفسرین نے اتفاق کیا ہے کہ اس سے مراد ان کی فطری چال ہے جس میں اکڑ اور تصنع نہیں ہوتا، اور جب جاہل لوگ ان سے نازیبا بات کرتے ہیں تو وہ جواب میں سلامتی کی بات کہتے ہیں اور انہیں ویسا جواب نہیں دیتے۔
