وَٱلَّذِينَ يَقُولُونَ رَبَّنَا هَبْ لَنَا مِنْ أَزْوَٰجِنَا وَذُرِّيَّٰتِنَا قُرَّةَ أَعْيُنٍ وَٱجْعَلْنَا لِلْمُتَّقِينَ إِمَامًا
And those who say: our Lord, give us from our wives and our children what will cool our eyes - the commentaries gloss it as seeing them obedient to God - and make us a pattern for those who guard themselves.
اور وہ لوگ جو اپنی دعا میں کہتے ہیں کہ اے ہمارے رب! ہمیں ہماری بیویوں اور اولاد سے وہ چیز عطا فرما جس سے ہماری آنکھیں ٹھنڈی ہوں، اور مفسرین نے آنکھوں کی ٹھنڈک کی تفسیر یہ کی ہے کہ ہم انہیں اللہ کا فرمانبردار دیکھیں، اور ہمیں متقیوں کے لیے نمونہ اور امام بنا دے۔
