قُلْ مَا يَعْبَؤُا۟ بِكُمْ رَبِّى لَوْلَا دُعَآؤُكُمْ فَقَدْ كَذَّبْتُمْ فَسَوْفَ يَكُونُ لِزَامًۢا
Say: my Lord would take no account of you at all but for your calling on Him - the commentaries take it as the calling that comes out of people in hard times. But you have called the truth a lie, and now the consequence must fall.
اے نبی! ان سے کہہ دیں کہ میرا رب تمہاری کوئی پروا نہ کرتا اگر تمہاری دعا نہ ہوتی، اور مفسرین نے اس دعا کی تفسیر اس دعا سے کی ہے جو مصیبت کے وقت لوگوں کی زبان سے نکلتی ہے۔ تم نے حق کو جھٹلایا جب وہ تمہارے پاس آیا، پس عنقریب یہ جھٹلانا تمہارے لیے ایسا عذاب لازم کر دے گا جس سے بچنا ممکن نہیں۔
