قَالَ لَئِنِ ٱتَّخَذْتَ إِلَٰهًا غَيْرِى لَأَجْعَلَنَّكَ مِنَ ٱلْمَسْجُونِينَ
Pharaoh said: if you take a god other than me, I will put you among the prisoners. The commentaries describe what that prison was: a man kept alone underground, seeing nothing and hearing nothing.
فرعون نے کہا: اگر تم نے میرے سوا کسی اور کو معبود بنایا تو میں تمہیں ضرور قیدیوں میں شامل کر دوں گا۔ مفسرین اس قید کی نوعیت بتاتے ہیں: ایک آدمی کو تنہا زمین کے نیچے رکھا جاتا، نہ کچھ دیکھتا نہ کچھ سنتا۔
