لَعَلَّنَا نَتَّبِعُ ٱلسَّحَرَةَ إِن كَانُوا۟ هُمُ ٱلْغَٰلِبِينَ
So that we may follow the magicians, they said, if they turn out to be the winners - which is to say, so that we may stay as we are.
