قَالَ سَنَنظُرُ أَصَدَقْتَ أَمْ كُنتَ مِنَ ٱلْكَٰذِبِينَ
Solomon said: we shall look into whether you told the truth in what you reported, or are of the liars. Saying it that way, rather than saying you lied, is at once weightier and gentler than a direct accusation.
سلیمان علیہ السلام نے کہا: ہم دیکھیں گے کہ تم نے سچ کہا یا جھوٹ بولنے والوں میں سے ہو۔ اسے سیدھا جھوٹا کہنے کے بجائے اس انداز میں کہنا بیک وقت زیادہ وزنی بھی ہے اور براہ راست الزام سے نرم بھی۔
