وَيَوْمَ يُنفَخُ فِى ٱلصُّورِ فَفَزِعَ مَن فِى ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَمَن فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ إِلَّا مَن شَآءَ ٱللَّهُ وَكُلٌّ أَتَوْهُ دَٰخِرِينَ
And on the Day when the Trumpet is blown, everyone in the heavens and the earth will be struck with a terror that carries them past bearing, except those God exempts. The commentaries name Israfil as the one who blows it. All of them come to God brought low.
اور جس دن صور پھونکا جائے گا تو آسمانوں اور زمین میں جو بھی ہے وہ ایک ایسی دہشت میں مبتلا ہو جائے گا جو برداشت سے باہر ہوگی، سوائے ان کے جنہیں اللہ چاہے گا۔ تفسیروں میں اس کا نام حضرت اسرافیل بتایا گیا ہے جو اسے پھونکیں گے۔ سب کے سب اللہ کے سامنے عاجزی سے حاضر ہوں گے۔
