وَقَالَ فِرْعَوْنُ يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلْمَلَأُ مَا عَلِمْتُ لَكُم مِّنْ إِلَٰهٍ غَيْرِى فَأَوْقِدْ لِى يَٰهَٰمَٰنُ عَلَى ٱلطِّينِ فَٱجْعَل لِّى صَرْحًا لَّعَلِّىٓ أَطَّلِعُ إِلَىٰٓ إِلَٰهِ مُوسَىٰ وَإِنِّى لَأَظُنُّهُۥ مِنَ ٱلْكَٰذِبِينَ
Pharaoh said: chiefs, I know of no god for you other than myself. Haman, kindle a fire for me on the clay and bake me bricks, and build me a tower so that I may climb it and look upon the god of Moses. And I think he is one of the liars.
فرعون نے کہا: اے سردارو، میں تمہارے لیے اپنے سوا کوئی معبود نہیں جانتا۔ اے ہامان، میرے لیے مٹی پر آگ جلاؤ اور میرے لیے ایک اونچا محل بنا دو تاکہ میں موسیٰ کے معبود کو جھانک کر دیکھ سکوں۔ اور میں تو یہی سمجھتا ہوں کہ وہ جھوٹا ہے۔
