وَلَوْلَآ أَن تُصِيبَهُم مُّصِيبَةٌۢ بِمَا قَدَّمَتْ أَيْدِيهِمْ فَيَقُولُوا۟ رَبَّنَا لَوْلَآ أَرْسَلْتَ إِلَيْنَا رَسُولًا فَنَتَّبِعَ ءَايَٰتِكَ وَنَكُونَ مِنَ ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ
You were sent so that, if a disaster struck them for what their own hands had sent ahead, their refusal and the rest of it, they could not say: our Lord, why did You not send us a messenger, so that we might have followed Your signs and been among the believers?
تمہیں اس لیے بھیجا گیا تاکہ اگر ان پر کوئی مصیبت آئے، جو ان کے اپنے ہاتھوں کی کمائی، یعنی ان کے انکار وغیرہ کی وجہ سے ہو، تو وہ یہ نہ کہہ سکیں: اے ہمارے رب، تو نے ہماری طرف کوئی رسول کیوں نہیں بھیجا تاکہ ہم تیری نشانیوں کی پیروی کرتے اور ایمان لانے والوں میں سے ہوتے؟
