قَالَ ٱلَّذِينَ حَقَّ عَلَيْهِمُ ٱلْقَوْلُ رَبَّنَا هَٰٓؤُلَآءِ ٱلَّذِينَ أَغْوَيْنَآ أَغْوَيْنَٰهُمْ كَمَا غَوَيْنَا تَبَرَّأْنَآ إِلَيْكَ مَا كَانُوٓا۟ إِيَّانَا يَعْبُدُونَ
Those against whom the word has fallen due, the leaders who led the straying, will say: our Lord, these are the ones we led astray. We led them astray just as we ourselves were astray. We declare before You that we are clear of them; it was not us that they were worshipping.
وہ لوگ جن پر یہ بات ثابت ہو چکی ہوگی، یعنی گمراہ کرنے والے سردار، کہیں گے: اے ہمارے رب، یہ وہ لوگ ہیں جنہیں ہم نے گمراہ کیا۔ ہم نے انہیں اسی طرح گمراہ کیا جیسے ہم خود گمراہ ہوئے تھے۔ ہم تیرے سامنے ان سے بری ہوتے ہیں، وہ ہماری نہیں بلکہ شیطانوں کی عبادت کرتے تھے۔
