إِنَّ ٱلَّذِى فَرَضَ عَلَيْكَ ٱلْقُرْءَانَ لَرَآدُّكَ إِلَىٰ مَعَادٍ قُل رَّبِّىٓ أَعْلَمُ مَن جَآءَ بِٱلْهُدَىٰ وَمَنْ هُوَ فِى ضَلَٰلٍ مُّبِينٍ
The One who laid the Qur'an upon you will bring you back to a place of return. Say: my Lord knows best who it is that has come with guidance and who is in plain error. The words came as an answer to those who refused him, and what they promise is a return to what he had been driven from.
جس نے تم پر قرآن فرض کیا ہے وہ تمہیں واپس لوٹنے کی جگہ کی طرف لے جائے گا۔ کہو: میرا رب زیادہ جانتا ہے کہ کون ہدایت لے کر آیا اور کون کھلی گمراہی میں ہے۔ یہ الفاظ ان لوگوں کے جواب میں آئے جنہوں نے انہیں رد کر دیا تھا، اور اس میں وعدہ تھا کہ وہ اس جگہ واپس لوٹیں گے جہاں سے انہیں نکالا گیا تھا۔
