أَحَسِبَ ٱلنَّاسُ أَن يُتْرَكُوٓا۟ أَن يَقُولُوٓا۟ ءَامَنَّا وَهُمْ لَا يُفْتَنُونَ
Do people think they will be left alone because they say we believe, without being put to trial? The trial is what brings out whether the word was true, and the commentaries take it as a testing in a person's own self and in their wealth.
