أَئِنَّكُمْ لَتَأْتُونَ ٱلرِّجَالَ وَتَقْطَعُونَ ٱلسَّبِيلَ وَتَأْتُونَ فِى نَادِيكُمُ ٱلْمُنكَرَ فَمَا كَانَ جَوَابَ قَوْمِهِۦٓ إِلَّآ أَن قَالُوا۟ ٱئْتِنَا بِعَذَابِ ٱللَّهِ إِن كُنتَ مِنَ ٱلصَّٰدِقِينَ
Do you go to men, and cut the road, doing this to travellers who passed by until people stopped passing that way at all, and commit what is wrong openly in your gatherings? His people had no answer but to say: bring us God's punishment, if you are telling the truth.
کیا تم مردوں کے پاس شہوت سے جاتے ہو، اور مسافروں کا راستہ کاٹتے ہو یہاں تک کہ لوگوں نے تمہارے راستے سے گزرنا چھوڑ دیا، اور اپنی مجلسوں میں کھلے عام برا کام کرتے ہو؟ تو ان کی قوم کا جواب اس انکار پر صرف یہ تھا کہ کہا کہ اگر تم سچے ہو تو ہم پر اللہ کا عذاب لے آؤ۔
