وَعَادًا وَثَمُودَا۟ وَقَد تَّبَيَّنَ لَكُم مِّن مَّسَٰكِنِهِمْ وَزَيَّنَ لَهُمُ ٱلشَّيْطَٰنُ أَعْمَٰلَهُمْ فَصَدَّهُمْ عَنِ ٱلسَّبِيلِ وَكَانُوا۟ مُسْتَبْصِرِينَ
And ʿAd and Thamud, and what became of them is plain to you from the dwellings they left behind. Satan made their deeds look beautiful to them and turned them off the road, and this although they were people with sight and understanding.
اور ہم نے قوم عاد اور ثمود کو بھی ہلاک کیا، اور تمہارے سامنے ان کے انجام کی حقیقت ان کے ویران گھروں کے آثار سے واضح ہو چکی ہے، اور شیطان نے ان کے برے اعمال کو ان کی نظروں میں خوبصورت بنا کر انہیں سیدھے راستے سے روک دیا، حالانکہ وہ عقل و بصیرت رکھنے والے لوگ تھے اگر وہ چاہتے۔
