وَيَسْتَعْجِلُونَكَ بِٱلْعَذَابِ وَلَوْلَآ أَجَلٌ مُّسَمًّى لَّجَآءَهُمُ ٱلْعَذَابُ وَلَيَأْتِيَنَّهُم بَغْتَةً وَهُمْ لَا يَشْعُرُونَ
And they press you to hurry the punishment on. Had a term not been set for it, it would have come to them at once. And it will come upon them suddenly, at an hour they do not see coming.
اور یہ مشرک آپ سے استہزا اور جھٹلانے کے طور پر عذاب کے جلد آنے کا مطالبہ کرتے ہیں، اور اگر اللہ نے اس عذاب کے لیے ایک مقررہ وقت نہ رکھا ہوتا تو وہ فورا ان پر آ جاتا، اور یہ ضرور اچانک ان پر آئے گا جبکہ انہیں اس کا کوئی احساس نہ ہوگا۔
