قُل لِّلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ سَتُغْلَبُونَ وَتُحْشَرُونَ إِلَىٰ جَهَنَّمَ وَبِئْسَ ٱلْمِهَادُ
Say to those who refuse: you will be overcome and gathered to Hell, and an evil resting place it is. The commentaries carry the occasion together: it was said to the Jews of Medina after Badr, when the Prophet gathered them and warned them not to expect a different end from the one Quraysh had just met.
کافروں سے کہہ دیجیے: تم عنقریب مغلوب ہو جاؤ گے اور جہنم کی طرف جمع کیے جاؤ گے، اور وہ بہت ہی برا ٹھکانا ہے۔ مفسرین اس کا پس منظر بھی ساتھ بیان کرتے ہیں: یہ بات مدینہ کے یہودیوں سے بدر کے بعد کہی گئی، جب نبی صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے انہیں جمع کر کے خبردار کیا کہ وہ اپنا انجام قریش سے مختلف نہ سمجھیں۔
