إِذْ هَمَّت طَّآئِفَتَانِ مِنكُمْ أَن تَفْشَلَا وَٱللَّهُ وَلِيُّهُمَا وَعَلَى ٱللَّهِ فَلْيَتَوَكَّلِ ٱلْمُؤْمِنُونَ
When two parties of you were on the point of losing heart, and God was the protector of both; in God let the believers put their trust. The commentaries name them together: two clans of the Helpers who wavered when the hypocrites withdrew, and were held firm.
جب تم میں سے دو گروہ ہمت ہارنے کے قریب پہنچ گئے، اور اللہ ہی دونوں کا حامی و مددگار تھا؛ اور مومنوں کو اللہ ہی پر بھروسہ کرنا چاہیے۔ مفسرین دونوں کا نام ایک ساتھ لیتے ہیں: انصار کے دو قبیلے جو منافقین کے پیچھے ہٹنے پر ڈگمگا گئے تھے، پھر انہیں ثابت قدم رکھا گیا۔
