وَلِيُمَحِّصَ ٱللَّهُ ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ وَيَمْحَقَ ٱلْكَٰفِرِينَ
And so that God may purify those who believe and wipe out those who refuse. The commentaries carry both halves of the turning: the same rotation of days cleanses one side and wears the other away.
اور تاکہ اللہ ایمان والوں کو پاک کرے اور انکار کرنے والوں کو مٹا دے۔ مفسرین اس گردش کے دونوں پہلو ساتھ ساتھ بیان کرتے ہیں: ایک ہی گردشِ ایام ایک طرف کو پاک کرتی ہے اور دوسری طرف کو گھلا دیتی ہے۔
