وَلَا يَحْسَبَنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ يَبْخَلُونَ بِمَآ ءَاتَىٰهُمُ ٱللَّهُ مِن فَضْلِهِۦ هُوَ خَيْرًا لَّهُم بَلْ هُوَ شَرٌّ لَّهُمْ سَيُطَوَّقُونَ مَا بَخِلُوا۟ بِهِۦ يَوْمَ ٱلْقِيَٰمَةِ وَلِلَّهِ مِيرَٰثُ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضِ وَٱللَّهُ بِمَا تَعْمَلُونَ خَبِيرٌ
Let those who are miserly with what God has given them of His bounty not reckon it better for them — it is worse for them. What they hoarded will be hung around their necks on the Day of Resurrection. To God belongs the inheritance of the heavens and the earth, and God is aware of what you do.
جو لوگ اللہ کے دیے ہوئے فضل میں بخل کرتے ہیں وہ یہ ہرگز نہ سمجھیں کہ یہ ان کے لیے بہتر ہے — بلکہ یہ ان کے لیے بدتر ہے۔ جس چیز میں انہوں نے بخل کیا وہ قیامت کے دن ان کے گلوں کا طوق بنا دی جائے گی۔ آسمانوں اور زمین کی وراثت اللہ ہی کے لیے ہے، اور اللہ اس سے خوب باخبر ہے جو تم کرتے ہیں۔
