ذَٰلِكَ بِمَا قَدَّمَتْ أَيْدِيكُمْ وَأَنَّ ٱللَّهَ لَيْسَ بِظَلَّامٍ لِّلْعَبِيدِ
That is for what your own hands sent ahead, and because God does no wrong to His servants. The commentaries make the same point about the wording: the hands stand for the whole person, because it is by them that most deeds are done.
