إِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ يَكْفُرُونَ بِـَٔايَٰتِ ٱللَّهِ وَيَقْتُلُونَ ٱلنَّبِيِّـۧنَ بِغَيْرِ حَقٍّ وَيَقْتُلُونَ ٱلَّذِينَ يَأْمُرُونَ بِٱلْقِسْطِ مِنَ ٱلنَّاسِ فَبَشِّرْهُم بِعَذَابٍ أَلِيمٍ
Those who refuse God's signs, and kill the prophets without any right, and kill the people who call for justice: give them the news of a painful punishment. The commentaries take the ayah as one charge, not two: killing the messenger and killing the ordinary man who says what is right come from the same arrogance.
جو لوگ اللہ کی آیتوں کا انکار کرتے ہیں، اور ناحق انبیاء کو قتل کرتے ہیں، اور ان لوگوں کو بھی قتل کرتے ہیں جو انصاف کی بات کہتے ہیں: انہیں دردناک عذاب کی خبر سنا دیں۔ مفسرین اس آیت کو ایک ہی الزام سمجھتے ہیں، دو نہیں: نبی کو قتل کرنا اور حق بات کہنے والے عام آدمی کو قتل کرنا دونوں اسی تکبر سے نکلتے ہیں۔
