أَلَمْ تَرَ إِلَى ٱلَّذِينَ أُوتُوا۟ نَصِيبًا مِّنَ ٱلْكِتَٰبِ يُدْعَوْنَ إِلَىٰ كِتَٰبِ ٱللَّهِ لِيَحْكُمَ بَيْنَهُمْ ثُمَّ يَتَوَلَّىٰ فَرِيقٌ مِّنْهُمْ وَهُم مُّعْرِضُونَ
Have you not seen those given a share of the Scripture being called to the Book of God so that it may judge between them, and then a party of them turns away, refusing? They are being invited to be judged by what they themselves acknowledge, and they will not have it.
کیا آپ نے ان لوگوں کو نہیں دیکھا جنہیں کتاب کا ایک حصہ دیا گیا تھا، انہیں اللہ کی کتاب کی طرف بلایا جاتا ہے تاکہ وہ ان کے درمیان فیصلہ کرے، پھر ان میں سے ایک گروہ منہ موڑ لیتا ہے اور وہ اعراض کرنے والے ہیں؟ انہیں اسی چیز کے مطابق فیصلہ کرنے کی دعوت دی جاتی ہے جسے وہ خود درست مانتے ہیں، پھر بھی وہ قبول نہیں کرتے۔
