ذَٰلِكَ مِنْ أَنۢبَآءِ ٱلْغَيْبِ نُوحِيهِ إِلَيْكَ وَمَا كُنتَ لَدَيْهِمْ إِذْ يُلْقُونَ أَقْلَٰمَهُمْ أَيُّهُمْ يَكْفُلُ مَرْيَمَ وَمَا كُنتَ لَدَيْهِمْ إِذْ يَخْتَصِمُونَ
This account is from the news of the unseen, revealed to you, Muhammad. You were not there when they cast their pens to decide which of them would take Mary into his care, and you were not there when they argued over it. The story itself is the proof that what you bring is revelation.
یہ غیب کی خبروں میں سے ہے، جو ہم آپ کی طرف وحی کرتے ہیں، اے محمد۔ آپ ان کے پاس موجود نہیں تھے جب وہ اپنے قلم پھینک کر یہ طے کر رہے تھے کہ ان میں سے کون مریم کی کفالت کرے، اور آپ ان کے پاس موجود نہیں تھے جب وہ اس بارے میں جھگڑ رہے تھے۔ یہ واقعہ خود اس بات کا ثبوت ہے کہ جو کچھ آپ لائے وہ وحی ہے۔
