قَالَتْ رَبِّ أَنَّىٰ يَكُونُ لِى وَلَدٌ وَلَمْ يَمْسَسْنِى بَشَرٌ قَالَ كَذَٰلِكِ ٱللَّهُ يَخْلُقُ مَا يَشَآءُ إِذَا قَضَىٰٓ أَمْرًا فَإِنَّمَا يَقُولُ لَهُۥ كُن فَيَكُونُ
She said: my Lord, how can I have a child when no man has touched me? He said: even so; God creates what He wills. When He decrees a matter He only says to it Be, and it is.
مریم نے کہا: اے رب، مجھے بچہ کیسے ہو سکتا ہے جبکہ مجھے کسی انسان نے چھوا تک نہیں؟ کہا گیا: ایسا ہی ہوگا، اللہ جو چاہتا ہے پیدا کرتا ہے، جب وہ کسی کام کا فیصلہ کر لیتا ہے تو صرف اتنا کہتا ہے 'ہو جا' اور وہ ہو جاتا ہے۔
