وَمَكَرُوا۟ وَمَكَرَ ٱللَّهُ وَٱللَّهُ خَيْرُ ٱلْمَٰكِرِينَ
And they schemed, and God schemed, and God is the best of schemers. The commentaries carry the same account: those who plotted to kill Jesus by stealth were themselves outschemed when God raised him and their plan closed on someone else.
انہوں نے چال چلی اور اللہ نے بھی چال چلی، اور اللہ سب سے بہتر چال چلنے والا ہے۔ مفسرین وہی روایت بیان کرتے ہیں: جن لوگوں نے چپکے سے عیسیٰ کو قتل کرنے کی سازش کی تھی، اللہ نے انہیں عیسیٰ کو اٹھا کر خود مات دے دی، اور ان کی سازش کسی اور شخص پر جا لگی۔
