إِنَّ مَثَلَ عِيسَىٰ عِندَ ٱللَّهِ كَمَثَلِ ءَادَمَ خَلَقَهُۥ مِن تُرَابٍ ثُمَّ قَالَ لَهُۥ كُن فَيَكُونُ
The likeness of Jesus with God is the likeness of Adam: He created him from dust, then said to him Be, and he is. The commentaries state the argument the same way: if a man created with no father must be divine, what of the man created with no father and no mother? The stranger case answers the strange one.
اللہ کے نزدیک عیسیٰ کی مثال آدم کی سی ہے: اسے مٹی سے پیدا کیا، نہ باپ نہ ماں کے بغیر، پھر اس سے کہا 'ہو جا' تو وہ انسان ہو گیا۔ مفسرین یہی دلیل دیتے ہیں: اگر بغیر باپ کے پیدا ہونے والا ضرور معبود ہونا چاہیے، تو اس کا کیا جو نہ باپ کے بغیر نہ ماں کے بغیر پیدا ہوا؟ زیادہ عجیب معاملہ عجیب معاملے کا جواب دیتا ہے۔
