ٱلْحَقُّ مِن رَّبِّكَ فَلَا تَكُن مِّنَ ٱلْمُمْتَرِينَ
The truth is from your Lord, so do not be among the doubters. The commentaries read it as addressed to the Prophet in form and to the hearer in fact: the matter of Jesus has now been settled by the One who made him, and after that there is nothing left to weigh.
یہ حق آپ کے رب کی طرف سے ہے، پس شک کرنے والوں میں سے نہ ہوں۔ مفسرین اس خطاب کو یوں پڑھتے ہیں: صورت میں یہ نبی کی طرف ہے مگر حقیقت میں ہر سننے والے کی طرف ہے: عیسیٰ کا معاملہ اب اسی ذات کی زبان سے طے ہو چکا ہے جس نے انہیں پیدا کیا، اور اس کے بعد تولنے کے لیے کچھ باقی نہیں رہتا۔
