يَٰٓأَهْلَ ٱلْكِتَٰبِ لِمَ تَلْبِسُونَ ٱلْحَقَّ بِٱلْبَٰطِلِ وَتَكْتُمُونَ ٱلْحَقَّ وَأَنتُمْ تَعْلَمُونَ
People of the Scripture, why do you dress the truth in falsehood and conceal the truth, knowing what you do?
اے اہل کتاب، تم اپنی کتابوں میں موجود حق کو اپنی طرف سے ملائے گئے باطل کے ساتھ کیوں خلط ملط کرتے ہو، اور جان بوجھ کر لوگوں سے حق کیوں چھپاتے ہو، جبکہ تم پورے یقین سے جانتے ہو کہ یہ وہی حق ہے جس میں کوئی شک نہیں؟
