وَلَا تُؤْمِنُوٓا۟ إِلَّا لِمَن تَبِعَ دِينَكُمْ قُلْ إِنَّ ٱلْهُدَىٰ هُدَى ٱللَّهِ أَن يُؤْتَىٰٓ أَحَدٌ مِّثْلَ مَآ أُوتِيتُمْ أَوْ يُحَآجُّوكُمْ عِندَ رَبِّكُمْ قُلْ إِنَّ ٱلْفَضْلَ بِيَدِ ٱللَّهِ يُؤْتِيهِ مَن يَشَآءُ وَٱللَّهُ وَٰسِعٌ عَلِيمٌ
And they said: trust none except one who follows your religion. Say: the guidance is God's guidance. They spoke so that no one else be given the like of what they were given, and so that no one argue against them before their Lord. Say: bounty is in God's hand; He gives it to whom He wills, and God is vast, knowing.
انہوں نے کہا: صرف اسی کی بات مانو جو تمہارے دین کی پیروی کرے۔ کہہ دیں: بے شک ہدایت تو اللہ کی ہدایت ہے۔ انہوں نے یہ اس لیے کہا تاکہ کسی اور کو ویسا کچھ نہ دیا جائے جو تمہیں دیا گیا ہے، اور تاکہ وہ تمہارے رب کے سامنے تم پر حجت قائم نہ کر سکیں۔ کہہ دیں: بے شک فضل اللہ کے ہاتھ میں ہے، وہ جسے چاہے دیتا ہے، اور اللہ وسعت والا، جاننے والا ہے۔
