إِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ بَعْدَ إِيمَٰنِهِمْ ثُمَّ ٱزْدَادُوا۟ كُفْرًا لَّن تُقْبَلَ تَوْبَتُهُمْ وَأُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ هُمُ ٱلضَّآلُّونَ
Those who refuse after their belief and then go on increasing in refusal — their repentance will not be accepted, and they are the ones astray. The commentaries read the rejected repentance as the one put off to the end, offered only when dying and still refusing.
جو لوگ اپنے ایمان لانے کے بعد کافر ہو گئے پھر کفر میں بڑھتے چلے گئے، ان کی توبہ ہرگز قبول نہیں کی جائے گی، اور یہی وہ لوگ ہیں جو گمراہ ہیں۔ مفسرین اس ناقابل قبول توبہ کو اس توبہ کے طور پر پڑھتے ہیں جو آخری لمحے تک ٹالی جائے، جو موت کے وقت پیش کی جائے جبکہ وہ اب بھی کفر پر قائم ہوں۔
