وَإِذَآ أَذَقْنَا ٱلنَّاسَ رَحْمَةً فَرِحُوا۟ بِهَا وَإِن تُصِبْهُمْ سَيِّئَةٌۢ بِمَا قَدَّمَتْ أَيْدِيهِمْ إِذَا هُمْ يَقْنَطُونَ
And when God gives people a taste of mercy they rejoice in it, and the rejoicing is an insolent one. And if hardship reaches them for what their own hands sent ahead, they fall straight into despair.
اور جب اللہ لوگوں کو اپنی رحمت کا مزہ چکھاتا ہے تو وہ اس پر خوش ہوتے ہیں، لیکن یہ خوشی تکبر اور غفلت کی خوشی ہوتی ہے، شکر کی نہیں۔ اور اگر انہیں ان کے اپنے ہاتھوں کے کیے کی وجہ سے کوئی تکلیف پہنچے تو وہ فوراً مایوس ہو جاتے ہیں۔
