وَلَقَدْ أَرْسَلْنَا مِن قَبْلِكَ رُسُلًا إِلَىٰ قَوْمِهِمْ فَجَآءُوهُم بِٱلْبَيِّنَٰتِ فَٱنتَقَمْنَا مِنَ ٱلَّذِينَ أَجْرَمُوا۟ وَكَانَ حَقًّا عَلَيْنَا نَصْرُ ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ
And God sent messengers before you to their own peoples, and they came to them with plain proofs of the truth of what they brought, and were called liars. So God took retribution from the guilty. And helping the believers was a duty God took upon Himself.
اور اللہ نے تم سے پہلے بھی رسول ان کی اپنی قوموں کی طرف بھیجے، اور وہ ان کے پاس اپنی سچائی کے واضح دلائل لے کر آئے، لیکن انہیں جھٹلا دیا گیا۔ تو اللہ نے مجرموں سے انتقام لیا۔ اور مومنوں کی مدد کرنا اللہ نے اپنے اوپر لازم کر رکھا تھا۔
