وَعْدَ ٱللَّهِ لَا يُخْلِفُ ٱللَّهُ وَعْدَهُۥ وَلَٰكِنَّ أَكْثَرَ ٱلنَّاسِ لَا يَعْلَمُونَ
It is God's promise, and God does not break what He has promised. But most people do not know that this is how it stands.
یہ اللہ کا پکا وعدہ تھا، اور اللہ اپنے وعدے کے خلاف کبھی نہیں کرتا۔ لیکن اکثر لوگ، یعنی مکہ کے کافر، اس حقیقت سے بے خبر تھے اور انہیں یہ یقین نہیں تھا کہ اللہ کا یہ وعدہ ضرور پورا ہو کر رہے گا، جیسا کہ آخرکار وہ پورا ہو کر ثابت ہوا۔
