أَوَلَمْ يَتَفَكَّرُوا۟ فِىٓ أَنفُسِهِم مَّا خَلَقَ ٱللَّهُ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضَ وَمَا بَيْنَهُمَآ إِلَّا بِٱلْحَقِّ وَأَجَلٍ مُّسَمًّى وَإِنَّ كَثِيرًا مِّنَ ٱلنَّاسِ بِلِقَآئِ رَبِّهِمْ لَكَٰفِرُونَ
Have they not thought about their own selves, so as to come back from their heedlessness? Their own selves are nearer to them than anything else, and a mirror in which what is shown in everything else can be seen. God created the heavens and the earth and what lies between them only truly, and for a term He has named. And many people refuse that they will ever meet their Lord.
کیا انہوں نے کبھی اپنی ہی ذات کے بارے میں غور نہیں کیا تاکہ اپنی اس غفلت سے باہر نکل سکیں؟ ان کا اپنا نفس ہر چیز سے زیادہ ان کے قریب ہے، گویا ایک آئینہ ہے جس میں ہر دوسری چیز کا عکس دیکھا جا سکتا ہے۔ اللہ تعالیٰ نے آسمانوں اور زمین کو اور جو کچھ ان کے درمیان ہے، حق کے ساتھ اور ایک مقررہ مدت کے لیے پیدا کیا ہے۔ اس کے باوجود بہت سے لوگ اپنے رب سے ملاقات کا سرے سے انکار کرتے ہیں۔
