وَوَصَّيْنَا ٱلْإِنسَٰنَ بِوَٰلِدَيْهِ حَمَلَتْهُ أُمُّهُۥ وَهْنًا عَلَىٰ وَهْنٍ وَفِصَٰلُهُۥ فِى عَامَيْنِ أَنِ ٱشْكُرْ لِى وَلِوَٰلِدَيْكَ إِلَىَّ ٱلْمَصِيرُ
And God charged the human being concerning his parents. His mother carried him in weakness upon weakness, her weakness doubling as she went, and his weaning comes at the end of two years, through which she nursed him. Be thankful to Me and to your parents. To Me is the coming home.
اور ہم نے انسان کو اپنے والدین کے بارے میں تاکید کی، اس کی ماں نے اسے کمزوری پر کمزوری اٹھاتے ہوئے پیٹ میں اٹھائے رکھا، ہر دن حمل بڑھنے کے ساتھ اس کی کمزوری بھی بڑھتی گئی، اور اس کا دودھ چھڑانا پورے دو سال میں مکمل ہوا۔ میرا اور اپنے والدین کا شکر ادا کرو، آخر تمہیں میری ہی طرف لوٹنا ہے۔
