وَإِن جَٰهَدَاكَ عَلَىٰٓ أَن تُشْرِكَ بِى مَا لَيْسَ لَكَ بِهِۦ عِلْمٌ فَلَا تُطِعْهُمَا وَصَاحِبْهُمَا فِى ٱلدُّنْيَا مَعْرُوفًا وَٱتَّبِعْ سَبِيلَ مَنْ أَنَابَ إِلَىَّ ثُمَّ إِلَىَّ مَرْجِعُكُمْ فَأُنَبِّئُكُم بِمَا كُنتُمْ تَعْمَلُونَ
But if they press you to set up with God what you have no knowledge of, do not obey them in that. And keep company with them in this world in the way that is right, with kindness and with the tie kept unbroken, and follow the way of one who turns back to God. Then to God is your return, and He will tell you what you were doing.
اور اگر وہ تم پر زور دیں کہ میرے ساتھ کسی ایسی چیز کو شریک ٹھہراؤ جس کا تمہیں کوئی علم نہیں، تو اس بات میں ان کی بات نہ مانو، لیکن دنیا میں ان کے ساتھ اچھے طریقے سے، یعنی نیکی، صلہ رحمی اور اچھے برتاؤ کے ساتھ رہو، اور اس شخص کے راستے پر چلو جو میری طرف رجوع کرتا ہے۔ پھر تم سب کو میری ہی طرف لوٹنا ہے، تو میں تمہیں بتاؤں گا کہ تم کیا کرتے رہے۔
