لِلَّهِ مَا فِى ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضِ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ هُوَ ٱلْغَنِىُّ ٱلْحَمِيدُ
To God belongs whatever is in the heavens and the earth, His by creation and by ownership, so that no one else in them deserves to be worshipped. God is the Rich, who has no need of anyone's praise, and the Praiseworthy, who deserves praise whether He is praised or not.
آسمانوں اور زمین میں جو کچھ بھی ہے وہ سب اللہ ہی کا ہے، پیدا کرنے کے اعتبار سے بھی اور مالک ہونے کے اعتبار سے بھی، اس لیے ان میں کوئی اور عبادت کے لائق نہیں۔ اللہ بےنیاز ہے، اسے کسی کی تعریف کی حاجت نہیں، اور وہ لائقِ تعریف ہے، چاہے کوئی اس کی تعریف کرے یا نہ کرے۔
