يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلنَّاسُ ٱتَّقُوا۟ رَبَّكُمْ وَٱخْشَوْا۟ يَوْمًا لَّا يَجْزِى وَالِدٌ عَن وَلَدِهِۦ وَلَا مَوْلُودٌ هُوَ جَازٍ عَن وَالِدِهِۦ شَيْـًٔا إِنَّ وَعْدَ ٱللَّهِ حَقٌّ فَلَا تَغُرَّنَّكُمُ ٱلْحَيَوٰةُ ٱلدُّنْيَا وَلَا يَغُرَّنَّكُم بِٱللَّهِ ٱلْغَرُورُ
People, be mindful of your Lord, and fear a Day on which no parent will be of any use to his child and no child of any use to his parent, not even were the parent to offer himself in his child's place. God's promise is true. So do not let the life of this world deceive you, and do not let the deceiver deceive you about God.
اے لوگو! اپنے رب سے ڈرو، اور اس دن سے ڈرو جس میں کوئی باپ اپنی اولاد کے کسی کام نہ آئے گا اور نہ کوئی اولاد اپنے باپ کے کسی کام آئے گی، یہاں تک کہ اگر باپ چاہے کہ اپنی جان بیٹے کے بدلے دے دے تو یہ بھی ممکن نہ ہوگا۔ بےشک اللہ کا وعدہ سچا ہے، تو دنیا کی زندگی تمہیں دھوکے میں نہ ڈالے، اور نہ کوئی بڑا دھوکے باز تمہیں اللہ کے بارے میں دھوکہ دے۔
