فَذُوقُوا۟ بِمَا نَسِيتُمْ لِقَآءَ يَوْمِكُمْ هَٰذَآ إِنَّا نَسِينَٰكُمْ وَذُوقُوا۟ عَذَابَ ٱلْخُلْدِ بِمَا كُنتُمْ تَعْمَلُونَ
So taste it, for you forgot the meeting of this day of yours by leaving off believing in it, and God has forgotten you and left you in the punishment. Taste the punishment that does not end, for what you used to do.
تو اب چکھو، اس لیے کہ تم نے اپنے اس دن کی ملاقات کو بھلا دیا تھا اور اس پر ایمان لانا چھوڑ دیا تھا، اور اللہ نے بھی تمہیں اسی طرح بھلا کر عذاب میں چھوڑ دیا۔ اب اپنے اعمال کے بدلے کبھی نہ ختم ہونے والا عذاب چکھو۔
