مِّنَ ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ رِجَالٌ صَدَقُوا۟ مَا عَٰهَدُوا۟ ٱللَّهَ عَلَيْهِ فَمِنْهُم مَّن قَضَىٰ نَحْبَهُۥ وَمِنْهُم مَّن يَنتَظِرُ وَمَا بَدَّلُوا۟ تَبْدِيلًا
Among the believers are men who were true to what they had pledged to God, standing firm with the Prophet. Some have fulfilled what they vowed, dying or being killed in God's path, and some are still waiting their turn. And they have not changed anything at all.
مومنوں میں سے کچھ ایسے مرد ہیں جنہوں نے اللہ سے کیے گئے اس عہد کو سچا کر دکھایا کہ وہ نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے ساتھ ثابت قدم رہیں گے، تو ان میں سے کچھ شہید ہو کر اپنی نذر پوری کر چکے ہیں، اور کچھ اپنی باری کا انتظار کر رہے ہیں، اور انہوں نے اپنے عہد میں کوئی تبدیلی نہیں کی۔
