يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلنَّبِىُّ قُل لِّأَزْوَٰجِكَ إِن كُنتُنَّ تُرِدْنَ ٱلْحَيَوٰةَ ٱلدُّنْيَا وَزِينَتَهَا فَتَعَالَيْنَ أُمَتِّعْكُنَّ وَأُسَرِّحْكُنَّ سَرَاحًا جَمِيلًا
Prophet, say to your wives: if what you want is the life of this world and its adornment, then come, and I will provide for you and let you go in a way that wrongs no one. They had asked him for more of the world's comfort than he had.
اے نبی! اپنی ان بیویوں سے کہہ دیں جنہوں نے آپ سے دنیا کی زیادہ آسائش کا مطالبہ کیا جو آپ کے پاس نہ تھی: اگر تم دنیا کی زندگی اور اس کی زینت چاہتی ہو تو آؤ میں تمہیں دنیا کا سامان دوں اور تمہیں اچھے طریقے سے رخصت کر دوں جس میں تم پر کوئی ظلم نہ ہو۔
